Wildebeest Migration Safari

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll meet your guide and be transferred to your luxury lodge in Arusha. Relax and prepare for the safari adventure ahead. Enjoy a welcome dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, take a scenic flight or drive to the Serengeti National Park. Settle into your luxury camp in the Central Serengeti, an excellent location for spotting predators and large herds. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive.

Spend the day exploring the Central Serengeti, known for its abundance of predators. Track the migration herds as they graze and encounter lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness. Return to the camp for dinner and relaxation.

Travel to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti, home to the Grumeti River. Witness the dramatic river crossings as wildebeests and zebras brave crocodile-infested waters. The lush environment also attracts elephants, giraffes, and hippos.

Drive to the Northern Serengeti, near the Mara River, where the most iconic river crossings occur. Watch as thousands of wildebeests navigate steep banks and fast-moving waters while avoiding predators. Spend the night in a luxury lodge or camp with breathtaking views of the migration.

Enjoy a relaxed morning game drive focusing on the herds’ movements and the diverse wildlife. In the afternoon, unwind at your lodge or partake in optional activities such as nature walks or cultural visits to local Maasai villages.

Take an early morning hot air balloon safari (optional) for a bird’s-eye view of the migration, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. Spend your last game drive soaking in the Serengeti's beauty and wildlife before returning to your camp for a farewell dinner.

After breakfast, take a scenic flight back to Arusha. Enjoy some last-minute shopping or sightseeing before your guide transfers you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
