Materuni Waterfall Day Trip

Your journey begins at 8:00 AM with a hotel pickup in Moshi or Arusha. A short drive takes you to Materuni Village, located at the edge of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park. Upon arrival, meet your local guide who will lead you on an invigorating hike through the lush rainforest to the stunning Materuni Waterfall.

As you walk, your guide will point out fascinating flora and fauna while sharing stories about the local culture. Upon reaching the waterfall, marvel at its sheer beauty as water cascades down a 90-meter drop. Take a refreshing dip in the natural pool at the base or simply relax and soak in the serene atmosphere.

After your waterfall adventure, return to the village for a cultural experience. Visit a Chagga home where you’ll participate in a traditional coffee-making process. Learn how coffee is grown, harvested, roasted, and brewed, and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of aromatic coffee.

Savor a traditional Tanzanian lunch prepared by the locals before bidding farewell to the friendly villagers. Your tour concludes with a return drive to your hotel, arriving by late afternoon.
