5 Days Serengeti Migration Safari

Begin your adventure early in the morning, departing from Moshi or Arusha town and heading toward the Serengeti National Park through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, stop briefly at a supermarket to stock up on any personal essentials. By early afternoon, arrive in the Serengeti, a sprawling national park covering 14,763 square kilometers in Tanzania's eastern Mara Region. Its iconic endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see. Proceed to the Lobo area in the northern-central Serengeti, characterized by its lush green rolling hills. This area serves as a vital corridor for the Great Migration, with wildebeest and zebras passing through in July/August and October/November during their annual journey between the southern Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara

Upon reaching the Kogatende area, enjoy lunch at your lodge or camp before embarking on an afternoon game drive. The highlight of this region is the Mara River, where dramatic crossings occur as animals face crocodiles and strong currents in their quest for fresh grazing lands.
