Day 1 :

Arusha – Momella Gate – Miriakamba Hut

The adventure begins with a transfer from your hotel in Arusha to Momella Gate in Arusha National Park. After a briefing, you start your trek through lush montane forests, enjoying waterfalls, streams, and the park’s unique flora and fauna. After several hours of trekking, you arrive at Miriakamba Hut for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 :

Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut

After breakfast, continue your trek through moorland and scenic landscapes towards Saddle Hut. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of Mount Meru’s volcanic crater. The afternoon is dedicated to rest and acclimatization in preparation for the summit attempt. Dinner and overnight stay are at Saddle Hut.

Day 3 :

Acclimatization Day – Saddle Hut

Spend the day acclimatizing at Saddle Hut with a short trek to nearby viewpoints. This helps your body adjust to the altitude and prepares you for the summit attempt. Guides will also provide tips and guidance for the climb. Meals and overnight stay are at Saddle Hut.

Day 4 :

Summit Day – Mount Meru – Saddle Hut

Begin an early morning climb to the summit of Mount Meru (4,566 meters) to witness breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views, including Mount Kilimanjaro. After celebrating at the summit, descend back to Saddle Hut for rest, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 5 :

Saddle Hut – Miriakamba Hut – Arusha

On the final day, descend from Saddle Hut through scenic trails to Miriakamba Hut for lunch, then continue to Momella Gate, where a vehicle transfers you back to your hotel in Arusha, concluding the trek with memories of incredible landscapes, wildlife, and mountain adventure.
