3 days Tsavo East and Saltlick safari from Diani/Mombasa

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from Diani or Mombasa and drive to Tsavo East National Park, a journey of approximately 3–4 hours with scenic stops along the way for photos. Upon arrival, you will check in at Saltlick Lodge or your chosen accommodation and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, exploring the park’s vast landscapes and spotting wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay, with the chance to watch wildlife coming to the waterhole near the lodge.

After an early breakfast, you will begin a morning game drive to catch wildlife at its most active, exploring different parts of the park and taking in its iconic scenery, including volcanic hills and acacia-dotted plains. Return to the lodge for breakfast and a short rest, then head out again for a mid-morning game drive. After lunch at the lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive visiting scenic spots and continuing to observe elephants, lions, buffaloes, and other wildlife. In the evening, relax at Saltlick Lodge, where wildlife frequently comes to the waterhole. Dinner and overnight stay are at the lodge.

Start the day with an optional early morning game drive, ideal for sunrise photography and spotting active wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and depart from Tsavo East, driving back to Diani or Mombasa. Along the way, enjoy scenic stops for photos and short breaks. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your memorable safari.
