2 days lake Natron Tour in Tanzania

After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive north through the scenic Great Rift Valley toward Lake Natron. En route, enjoy panoramic views of volcanic mountains, savannahs, and local villages. Stop along the way for refreshments and photos. Upon arrival at Lake Natron, check into your lodge or campsite, then enjoy a short walk to explore the lake’s shoreline and see flamingos (seasonal) and other birdlife. In the evening, relax and enjoy dinner while taking in the spectacular sunset over the lake. Overnight at the lodge or campsite.

Start early with a guided hike to the base of Ol Doinyo Lengai, the “Mountain of God,” a sacred volcano to the Maasai. Along the hike, marvel at dramatic lava formations, ancient caves, and breathtaking landscapes. After the hike, visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about their culture, traditions, and daily life. Enjoy lunch at the lodge or picnic before starting the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. This concludes your 2-day Lake Natron adventure.
