Day 01 :

Arrival in Moshi/Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. Meet your trekking team for a pre-climb briefing and equipment check.

Day 02 :

Machame Gate to Machame Camp

Elevation: 1,800m to 3,000m (5,905ft to 9,842ft)
Begin your trek with a drive to Machame Gate. Hike through lush rainforest, spotting monkeys and vibrant flora, to reach Machame Camp.

Day 03 :

Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Elevation: 3,000m to 3,850m (9,842ft to 12,631ft)
Climb out of the forest into the moorlands, enjoying views of the Shira Plateau and Mount Meru in the distance.

Day 04 :

Shira Camp to Barranco Camp (via Lava Tower)

Elevation: 3,850m to 3,900m (12,631ft to 12,795ft)
Hike to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp. This day provides critical acclimatization to help your body adjust to the altitude.

Day 05 :

Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Elevation: 3,900m to 3,995m (12,795ft to 13,106ft)
Tackle the famous Barranco Wall, a steep yet rewarding climb. Continue through the alpine desert to Karanga Camp.

Day 06 :

Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Elevation: 3,995m to 4,673m (13,106ft to 15,331ft)
Ascend to Barafu Camp, the base camp for your summit attempt. Rest early in preparation for a midnight departure to Uhuru Peak.

Day 07 :

Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp

Elevation: 4,673m to 5,895m to 3,100m (15,331ft to 19,341ft to 10,170ft)
Start your summit attempt under the starlit sky. Reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise, celebrating your incredible achievement. Descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.

Day 08 :

Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

Elevation: 3,100m to 1,640m (10,170ft to 5,380ft)
Descend through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive your summit certificate before returning to your hotel for a celebratory evening.
